JR Gideon is a distinguished leader in real estate development, spearheading initiatives across Lincoln Property Company’s Austin and San Antonio markets. JR plays a pivotal role in guiding development projects while also supporting leasing efforts to enhance service for Lincoln’s partners and clients. His expertise spans office, multifamily, and mixed-use projects, with a specialization in acquisitions, entitlements, consultant coordination, and construction management.
Before joining Lincoln, JR earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Real Estate Certificate from the University of Texas. During his tenure in the professional residency program at the UT School of Architecture, he contributed to the planning and design of high-rise residential projects with a prominent architectural firm on the West Coast.
Originally from Fort Worth, JR has been a resident of Austin since his freshman year at UT. Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing, playing baseball, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
