Tom Ashforth

Tom Ashforth is Senior Vice President and Manager in the Northeast region at Lincoln Property Company. His primary market focus is Connecticut and Westchester County. Tom is responsible for developing and directing new business, sourcing and underwriting new investments for clients and the firm, as well as recruiting. He manages brokerage operations and actively services and executes leasing and sales assignments in these markets.

Before joining Lincoln, Tom held the position of Principal at Transwestern, where he joined in 2011. He managed and led the Connecticut office for Transwestern, overseeing the development and execution of all brokerage business and recruitment efforts. Prior to Transwestern, Tom served as the Senior Vice President of Investments for The Ashforth Company. He joined Ashforth’s Investment Department in 1999 and was responsible for developing and executing Ashforth’s East Coast acquisition program. Preceding his time at Ashforth, Tom worked for Hines, where he held responsibilities in acquisitions, management, leasing, and redevelopment of class “A” commercial properties in New York City and Connecticut.

Tom initiated his 33-year career in real estate in 1985 at Ashforth’s Management Services Division as a Property Manager. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing two premier office buildings in Fairfield County, Connecticut, as well as third-party assignments.
