John Walter

John Walter is the Executive Vice President at Lincoln Property Company, responsible for overseeing operations and development in the commercial group in Austin, Dallas and the Southwest market. With a successful track record dating back to 1985, John has a strong background in the real estate industry. He began his career at Lincoln as a Project Manager and worked his way up to become Regional Vice President of Development in 1987. In 1990, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Southwest region and held this position for 12 years before leaving to pursue independent real estate transactions. In 2016, John returned to Lincoln to lead all commercial operations in the Southwest.

During his tenure at Lincoln Property Company, John has been instrumental in the success of several notable projects such as the 8111 Douglas mixed-use project and corporate headquarters for the company in Dallas, Texas. He also played a key role in the development of 6th & Guadalupe, The Republic and Waterline in Austin, Texas. With his background in construction and business, John has a keen understanding of the real estate market and is able to navigate complex transactions with ease. His leadership and strategic thinking have made him a valuable asset to the company.
