Jose Bustamante

Jose Bustamante serves as Senior Vice President of Lincoln’s Northern California region, leading the firm’s local operations and all development and construction activity. He has over 27 years of professional leadership experience, including 18 years with commercial and mixed-use real estate projects and transactions. Jose has overseen the development and acquisition of over 7 million sq. ft. of buildings and ± 660 acres of land, collectively valued at $5 billion. His expertise focuses on execution of the entire real estate development process, including acquisition, master planning, design, entitlements, permitting, construction, and leasing.

Jose previously served as Irvine Company’s regional development leader in Northern California,
where he entitled and developed 3.4 million sq. ft. of office campus projects, completed 2 million sq. ft. of reinvestment projects, and managed an office/R&D portfolio of 6 million sq. ft. in Silicon Valley. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jose served as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer for nine years prior to entering the real estate industry.
