Kearny Mesa Logistics
A state-of-the-art facility in San Diego’s Kearny Mesa commercial and industrial district.
The Kearny Mesa Logistics distribution center is the first industrial project of this scale developed in San Diego’s Kearny Mesa area since the 1980s. Located in the heart of San Diego County, this Class-A facility offers such features as 36′ clear height, 64 dock-level doors, and seven grade-level doors.
Lincoln Property Company acquired the former Cubic Corporation campus in an off-market transaction in 2019. The seller leased back the campus for 18 months as the firm constructed a new headquarters building on its main campus, while Lincoln began entitlements for the new state-of-the-art Kearny Mesa Logistics distribution facility. The project required a Mitigated Negative Declaration, which Lincoln processed with the City of San Diego.
Lincoln led the entitlement and design process, broke ground in 2021, and completed the project in October 2022. The project is 100% leased to a global e-commerce and online marketplace company on a 12-year lease.
