Gates of Prosper

A multiphase shopping center development in Prosper, Texas.

Owned by the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ real estate company, Blue Star Land, the Gates of Prosper shopping center is a multiphase retail development in Prosper, Texas.

Blue Star Land engaged Lincoln Property Company’s retail division to master plan the commercial portion of the 800-acre site. Once completed, the Gates of Prosper shopping center will span more than 250 acres and feature over two million square feet of retail and restaurant space, ranking it among the largest retail developments in North Texas.

Construction of Phase I began in 2016, and the development’s first tenant opened its doors in 2018.

Gates of Prosper’s current portfolio of national and local retail tenants includes Target, Old Navy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, Burlington, TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, PetSmart, Kohl’s, and Homegoods, among others.

Additional plans are in process for a 40-acre Town Center that will include over 300,000 square feet of high-end shops and restaurants; 200,000 square feet of office space; a hotel; and over 1,500 residential units, including apartments, single family homes and townhomes.
